Containers

What's the difference between new, one-trip and used?
"New" and "one-trip" containers have made a single voyage from the factory, so they're near-new with clean walls and good seals. Used containers have had a full shipping life: expect dents, surface rust and repaints, but a "wind and watertight" grade still keeps rain out and is ideal for storage on a budget.
What sizes do containers come in?
The common lengths are 10, 20 and 40 ft, with 30 and 45 ft less common. A standard container is 8 ft (2.44 m) wide and 8 ft 6 in (2.59 m) tall; a "high cube" adds a foot of height at 9 ft 6 in (2.9 m).
Do I need council approval?
Often not for temporary storage on private land, but rules vary between councils, especially for permanent placement, cabins used as habitable space, or containers visible from the street. Check with your local council before delivery.
What do I put a container on?
Firm, level ground. Timber sleepers, concrete pads or compacted crushed rock under the four corners keep it level, help the doors open and close properly, and let air move underneath.

Trailers

What does GVM mean?
Gross Vehicle Mass: the most the trailer may weigh when loaded, including its own weight. Payload is GVM minus the trailer's empty (tare) weight. Make sure your vehicle's towing capacity covers the GVM you plan to use.
Do I need trailer brakes?
As a general guide under Australian design rules: trailers up to 750 kg don't need brakes; 750 kg–2,000 kg need brakes on at least one axle; over 2,000 kg need brakes on every wheel plus a breakaway system. Check the specific requirements with your state road authority.
Single or tandem axle?
Single axle trailers are lighter, cheaper and easier to move by hand. Tandem axles carry more weight, ride more smoothly and are more stable at highway speed with heavier loads.

Ordering & delivery

How do I order?
Add to cart and check out, or send a quote request. Either way you receive an invoice by email — nothing is charged on the website. Once payment clears we book delivery or collection.
How much is delivery?
It depends on distance, size and the truck needed, so freight is quoted to your address. Send your postcode through the contact form for a price before you order.
How can I pay?
Bank transfer (EFT), PayID or a card payment link. Details are on the payment page and on your invoice.
Some products say "price on request" — why?
Those are built or configured to order, so the price depends on the spec. Send a quote request and we'll come back with a firm price.
